Altona Sweater is a classic raglan piece - the quintessential “soft armour”. This cozy sweater features a folded sewn ribbed neckline (knit in the round, top-down), seamless design, a slightly oversized fit, cast off sleeve stitches, picked up later, full length subtle bell sleeves, sleeve & body ribbing has a stretchy Italian sewn bind off edge. Pattern also includes detailed instructions for Italian Sewn Bind off.

Knit, purl, knitting in the round, increasing sts, decreasing sts, picking up sts, casting on, backwards loop cast on method and binding off. Optional skills include folded neckband, German short row shaping & Italian bind-off.
